In 1985 the first record of an awards ceremony was instituted.  Amongst the awards presented were Generic Gift certificates.  Below you will see a couple of the original awards.

This is also the year that Hoss, WA5ZAI, made history by hitting a glass table on his patio with an arrow being shot into the trees to erect a wire antenna.  After he hit the table the first time, they moved the table to a more secure spot and he managed to hit it AGAIN!  Below you will see a snap shot of Hoss shooting one of the arrows and a couple of different snap shots of the two awards he received for this incredible feat!
