In 1983 we used snail mail to send out invitations to the Gathering.  Below you will see actual scanned copies of those original invitations which were printed on a dot matrix printer - the state of the art then!  Of course, "Mac Chuck" had a more up-to-date printer and he made the flyer.

The note and flyer were stapled together and then mailed out to the gang.

It was called "The Pre Bash Gathering" because after the Gathering everyone went to the Miami Valley FM Assn. HamVention B*A*S*H to continue celebrations.  Obviously, N0BIX was planning to erect a tower that year.
