Man, I had forgotten about this Mini Gathering. N0BIX brings memories back that had slipped away with this series of photos from August of 1989. Below left, Jan, KA9VQS looks on while John, N5AAA works on grounding the various sections of the tower together in an effort to reduce spurious noise and provide an earth ground for counter poise for an antenna installation. Below right, John, N5AAA works at the rotor area. Bottom left, Keith, WA8ZWJ joins John on the tower.
Below Keith and John make final solder connections to the wire antenna to be installed.
