A couple of months ago the tower that was on Hoss - WA5ZAI's roof on a wooden frame was blown off the roof. He and Ron - AA5RT decided that it would be better to dig a hole and place a new tower beside the house.
Here are the results of their efforts.
The tower is in the hole. Ron - AA5RT is mounting the
house bracket while Bill The Handy Man steadies the tower.

They have checked it for level!

Here is Bill The Handy Man mixing some concrete.

Hoss - WA5ZAI sitting and Ron - AA5RT... Break Time!

The concrete is in the hole!

Ron says "It seems sturdy to me!"

Hoss and Ron admiring their work!

There will be one more section of tower with the rotor and
antennas that will be added once the concrete has cured and the wind has died
down some.

Another step closer to getting some of Hoss's antenna
trouble repaired.

More to come....
Ronnie Bob - AA5RT and Jon - KF5OCW
"Sure, now is a good time to take a snap shot!
We already have the top section up and on!"

"Hmm, lemme see....I know I put dem bolts in here some
place."

"Okie dokie! The rope is loose! You can
take away the gin pole!"

Ron says "While Jon plays with the gin pole I will
check my cell phone to see if I have any new e-mails."

This is Jon - KF5OCW. He says "Are you ready
now?"

This is Ronnie Bob - AA5RT... He says
"Almost!"

"OK! You can send up the beam now.
Hay! Where'd you go?"

"I'm gonna help Hoss with the coax."

Here are Hoss - WA5ZAI and Jon hooking up the coax.

Ron says "Man, that dual band vertical sure does look
nice up there!"

Jon is getting back on the roof to hand up the
"N" (18 I think) element UHF beam...

"OK Ron. Here she comes!"

"Hmm, the watzenhammer doesn't seem to fit the closet
hatch."

"Maybe with a little help from my friend?"

"We are going to need a chrome reverse micro spanner
to get those U Bolts on there."

"Hmm, I guess he went to get one. While he is
gone I will fiddle with this and look busy"

"Yep! That is presactly what the doctor
ordered"

"Hi MOM!"

"Daggone it! I can't get this nut on the U
Bolt."

"Well, she is leanin' a bit. I guess we ought to
go ahead and install the other U Bolt."

"Have at 'er!"

"So, do you think that is enough of a loop or should I
add a bit more?"

"Looks good from here Ron!"

"Ah, now to dress things up and tape the coax
down."

"One step at a time"

"I'm making progress here!"

"Hey Ron! Hoss wants this thingy for the weather
station put up there too!"

Hoss says "It goes up there!"

Jon says "Golly, this looks really professional!"

Ron says "When you get up there it will go something
like this."

Jon says "Ouch! I stuck myself with that tie
wrap!"

Ron says "You are doin' real good Jon but you have it
upside down!"

Another job done with thumbs up!

See what happens when you send photos and don't include any text! :-)
Ron says "HI KEITH
THIS IS THE LAST OF THE PHOTOS. NOT BAD FOR A 70 PLUS YEAR OLD WITH VERTIGO.
73...RONNIE BOB AA5RT"
Thanks to Hoss and Ron for their coordinated efforts to send Keith the photos.
