Recently, KC4US has been noticing some unwanted movement on his stealth vertical antenna/flagpole. As we all know, necessity is the mother of invention, so, Lew has contrived this work around to reduce the unwanted movement.
Below we see the "before" picture.
In Lew's own words:
"Well I finished the flagpole base and it seems to work quite well. It now seems to be rock solid with no play. If it works OK for tomorrow's schedule then all is well. After completeing this project I realized that one could very easily home brew a flagpole antenna out of any metal pipe available using a base similar to the one I built." Lew
