The Texoma Hamfest occurred on Saturday, October 22, 2011
Jim - W5JCS sent these photos. He has promised some text to accompany the pictures.
Joseph - WA5FLT has sent some photos along as well. I have added them to Jim's at the bottom.
The Ardmore Convention Center at Ardmore Oklahoma. This is a
great facility and good location half-way between Dallas/Ft. Worth and Oklahoma
City.

Great seeing old friends. Here is Dan - K5FVL from
Stillwater, OK and Hoss - WA5ZAI from Valley Mills, Texas. Ardmore is
about three hours away for both in different directions.

Hoss - WA5ZAI and Joseph - WA5FLT talk about the old
Hammarlund receiver.

Joe
- WA5FLT, Bob - WA6?, unknown ham, Mac - K2GKK (seated), and his XYL Judy.
Mac is selling some of his Hammarlund receivers. 2011 was the 50th
year that Mac and Judy participated in Field Day. Mac is a well known ham
in Oklahoma.

Waiting for the ARRL Forum are, Vice-Director, West Gulf
John Stratton - N5AUS, Joe Garland - WA5FLT, Oklahoma Section Manager Kevin
O’Dell - N0IRW, Neil - N5KCO, unknown guy in background.

Neil - N5KCO and Mike - N5MS share a lighter moment in the
flea market.

Joe,
Dan, and Mike sharing a laugh in the donut line.

The return drive north to Norman and Stillwater through the
Arbuckle Mountains of southern Oklahoma. The granite mountains were named
for Gen. Matthew Arbuckle (1778–1851), a career
soldier who was active in the Indian Territory, several detachments of troops
under his command had established an outpost to protect the California road
along this route. Prior to the Civil War.
