We had a great time at Texhoma Hamfest. We enjoyed visiting with Aaron VanNort (AD5JK) and Joe Garland (WA5FLT). Joe didn't stay around long enough for me to take a picture of him and his friend, Al Snider (with an i and not y). Ron Bowden (AA5RT) picked up a nifty power meter which measures power up to 2KW and measures forward and reverse power. Johnny Martin (KF8KK) picked up a multi IOserial box and some cables which he had forgotten to pack. I found a 60 GB Maxtor hard drive, an ICOM commercial mike and a couple of serial cables.

Then after the Fest we joined the ladies for a buffet lunch (at the casino), and
played some slots. I won $30, Margareth lost a couple of C notes and Jo Ann was awarded
$250 in one of the morning random drawings.
All in all it was a great outing and we all got home safely by about 6 PM.
My thanks to Johnny for the great job he did on my kitchen floor.
