Texas Mini Gathering

Howdy IOOK.

Well, the gang has come, the gang has left and here we are lonely in Texas yet!

On Sunday Dec. 21st, John and Jan arrived during the early PM.  We waited for Corky and Mr. Ed, but apparently they were delayed because of the road situations, etc.  They arrived about 6 PM, right at "chow time".

Margareth had prepared a feast of roasted duck (in honor of Johnny the Duckman) and ham, with all the trimmings. The table was set properly by my bride and we had, John, Jan, Johnny, Ed, and our neighbors Jan and Murray for dinner.  I am sorry that I experienced IOOK code alpha and forgot to take the photo of the group around the dining table. But attached are a few photos of the group as well as the vehicles they used to get to Texas with.

On Monday, after breakfast the Martins departed for Arizonie (about 9 AM).
Monday evening we had dinner at Outback (courtesy of the Hartman's) and back home we watched a bit of telly. This AM about 9 O'clock, the Hartman's departed for San Antone.

We enjoyed the visit tremendously, and hope that some of you will find time to come and see us too. Lou, we will be expecting your arrival in early March. I imagine that Keith, Chuck and some of the rest of you are too busy with your active skeds to come down to the country, but do try.

Take care and God bless you all and a very Merry Christmas.
