It is with great pleasure and fanfare that I report the completion of an IOOK Minigathering here at the Poway CA Chapter of the IOOK.
In attendance were Ted, KF6BFI; Menchie (KG6WNV) his YL; Charlie, NN3V; and Eli my YL.
The IOOK VPs who attended the 2008 Yuma hamfest will remember Menchie as one of the YLs who graced our Technology Center booth, and added to the merriment and cheer we enjoyed at the hamfest.
As a reward for her good humor, patience in putting up with the IOOK shenanigans, and ability to dish back anything aimed in her direction, she was inducted today as an IOOK VP, with all the rights, honors, and responsibilities (if there are any) appurtenant thereto.
