Lew, KC4US & Miriam's Cruise

posted 3/18/2010

The first of these pictures are when we were at sea after leaving Miami on the 20th.  The rest are from the island of Curacao .  Note the pontoon bridge, in the city of Willemstadt , that swings open or closed to allow pedestrian traffic or ship access.  That bridge was there when we visited there many years ago but the fixed bridge was not.  They seem to be very proud of the "new" fixed bridge.  A couple of the pictures are of our ship, taken from our tour bus as we went over the bridge.  This was my pick of the best pictures from our first port of call.  There are seven more ports of call so you see how I got so many pictures.  More later.  Lew
