KBob Does Yurrup

posted 6/12/06

Recently Randy, AB8CO and his XYL, Marilyn traveled Europe.  During their travels they were surprised to see that KBob must have been on a similar trip package.  In Randy's words:  "Keith, We got back late Saturday, and are finally de-jet-lagged.  I am attaching a file of 17 flat-Kbob head shots from Europe.  It seemed that every time we turned around there he was!  So, we took his photo every time we saw him!  There is a text file that explains each photo.  Some of these are quite amusing.  Best 73, Randy

A kindly gentleman with a serious back deformity offered this cathedral-like property to KBob as the perfect "sanctuary" for radio operations.

KBob is especially proud of the new vertical antenna he purchased in France. He said it covers all bands extremely well, but the coax loss back to the Outer Banks is a bummer.

Many thanks to Randy for sharing these rare photos of KBob's European trip!  Incredible!
