Mark Matalik, AE5DN, (friend of Aaron and I) gives a talk
on DMR radios. It's getting popular around these parts.
Shortly after the DMR presentation, Mike - N5MS and Joe -
WA5FLT give us a happy pose.
Soon it was time for lunch at Earl's Barbecue in Bricktown.
Liz, her niece and grandson Nate joined us. L-R: Liz, Mike,

WA5IYI, Jim - W5JCS, and Joe - WA5FLT.
BTW, Joe Christian said he was moving back to the Oklahoma City area soon. His
preference is a 5 acre lot.
Since I couldn't get Nate or myself in the group shot,
here's a selfie of grandson Nate (age 5) and myself. Liz's niece politely
declined.
After lunch, some of us stayed for the drawing.
Not pictured in my group of pics is Dan Schroeder who
headed back to Stillwater. Jim arrived shortly after Dan left, leading us
to believe Jim only came down for lunch.

Stan - N5JFQ is on the left here. Stan says "My
friend in the red shirt is Eddie Southard, KF5VFD. He's retiring from
the department this month and I may have him convinced to make Dayton."
Mike - N5MS (on the right) says "The picture of me
with two other fellows is Joe Christian - K5HMD and Mike Christian, his
son - WA5IYI."
