According to Stan..
"First group I found from Oklahoma, Jim - W5JCS and
Mike - N5MS."

The IOOK hit HamCom 2013, but with a little smaller group this year.
However, in honor of the IOOK, the tickets are IOOK Blue.

Next group, Joe - WA5FLT and Neal - N5KCO. Yes, Neal is holding a "big gulp" drink which is always legal in Texas.

Not with them is Al - AE5CJ, who has now missed two ham events in a row.
Waiting on the bench for everyone to show up is Chaz -
AI0OK and his grandson River seated on the left. Both have big smiles because River just passed his Technician test the night before!

Mike gets the news about River's accomplishment. River just turned 11.

The IOOK group ready to hit the flea market.

More IOOK in the flea market, (L-R):
N5MS
- Mike Salem, K5NI - Jim Barrow, WA5JXX - Roger Ryan, K5HMD
- Joe Christian
Mike finds Dan, K5FVL! Congratulations to Dan on his
recent retirement!

Wil,
WB5YFX, said Hoss and Ron send IOOK greetings since they didn't make it this
year.

Now it's time for an IOOK lunch at Poor Richard's restaurant.

Little River explains he is getting the big order of French Toast, bacon and 2 eggs.

Great home style cooking at Poor Richard's: Smothered steak with 2 sides.

Our lovely waitress snaps this group photo of the IOOK "party of 9" at Poor Richard's restaurant.

We missed a few regulars as noted above, but we all shared another good time of IOOK fellowship.

Hey! Jim - W5JCS has sent along some shots of the HamCom too! Here they are!
Stan - N5JFQ and Mike - N5MS

Stan and Wil - WB5YFX

Neal - N5KCO, Mike - N5MS, River and Grandpa Chas - AI0OK

Someone has taken a lot of time to restore this setup!

Grandpa Chas and River

The couple in the background are friends Jim Picket and his
xyl. He is smiling as his wife just bought him a new Elecraft KX3 with all
the extras! They are from Broken Arrow (Tulsa area) Okla. Mike -
N5MS on the right.

Yeah, this is blurry but I left it in so you could see the
hamfest was well attended!

This is Mike and an old friend of Mike's who was a very
knowledgeable Motorola HT 220 ham. Remember when the cool guys had HT
220's?

The outdoor flea market!

Many thanks to Jim for sharing his shots with us!
