Our fun Fort Wayne Hamfest weekend began Friday, 11/14/08 in the afternoon with Jean and N0BIXie's arrival followed by N5AAA and KA9VQS. WD8CJD and WA8ZWJ arrived about dinner time after dropping off the flea market stuff at the Coliseum.
Bright and early Saturday morning the "die hards" (N5AAA, WA8ZWJ, W8AK & his group) headed to the hamfest! Then, later, the rest of the gang began to arrive!

The crowd arrives! Yee haw! Let the hamfest begin!
Brandon must be a "Krazy" because he keeps running around with "Krazy's"! The guy operating pedestrian mobile HF CW must be "Krazy" even though we have no record of him on file. Har!

N0BIX continues to amaze the gang while he takes more pictures than the law ought to allow! J

Of course, no visit to Fort Wayne would be complete without a stop on the way home at the Back 40 Junction in Decatur, IN for their all-you-can-eat prime rib buffet!
Even though the shots don't really show it, there was a large crowd at the hamfest on Saturday. Sadly, they were mostly looking and not buying, which may be a summary of our current economic conditions. Sales were better on Sunday, even though the crowd, as usual, was much smaller.
