Yes, the IOOK was again represented at the 2005 Ft. Wayne Hamfest!
It was great to see all those who attended. We had a great time! A special treat was seeing Big Al and Lenore spending their 39th anniversary at the hamfest. We also enjoyed a delightful anniversary dinner at the Olive Garden that evening. Among the IOOK attendees were W9KD from Noblesville, Indiana, WA8ZWJ from Union, Ohio, WD8ROE and K8DIV from the Dayton, Ohio area, KB8FJB and KC8VSA from Evart, Michigan (on their way to Tucson, AZ), WB8WIQ, N8KXM and WB8VSU from the Dayton area, KK8O from Galion, Ohio, KA0AZS from the Dayton area and W8TVC and KC8PCQ from Traverse City, Michigan. Of course, it was also good to see our IOOK friend, Gaylen, WB0W.
What a surprise we had when for a brief moment we saw, what appeared to be, N5AAA standing in front of the flea market table! Of course, no visit to Ft. Wayne would be complete without a stop at the Back 40 Junction in Decatur, Indiana.
As you can see from the picture, we had beautiful weather this weekend. As always a delightful time was had and it was great seeing those who were in attendance.
