Big Al, KB8FJB came to visit with Lew, KC4US and Miriam in
"The Villages" in central Florida.
Below, Big Al arrives for his visit.
After a fun filled time, Big Al prepares to leave, but
first....

Lew, KC4US gets into the act and he and Big Al sing a duet!
After a fun filled visit, Big Al heads back to his winter
home in the "warm" south!
OK, [the "warm" south] was a dig at the cold winter
they have had in Florida.
No animals were injured or killed during the photography
session.
However, some animals may have been consumed sometime.
Large type was used for those who need it.
For a written transcription of the text of the meeting, you
must first submit proof of ownership of hip boots in a size that fits you!
Then you must sign a waiver because hip boots probably won't
totally protect you!
Hmm, even though it was St. Patrick's Day, the only thing
green was the grass and the plants. I hope somebody got pinched!

Here's what Big Al said after looking at the pictures:
So, you think I went to see Lew at the
Villages? I don't remember that. Someone must be playing tricks
with a camera. I do remember riding around in a little electric car and
having a great lunch. I can't believe how big The Villages are and
how easy it is to get around. Believe me, The Villages show us the need
for electric cars. They can park 4 or 5 golf carts in the space of one
car in the shopping areas. And yes, they have wild drivers of the
electric's. I remember now, I had the time of my life and a great visit
with Lew and Miriam. What was really nice was that everything is so
clean and well taken care. It's as it should be but usually never is in
other communities. Sorry I didn't have anything green to wear and I just
didn't care. Sorry to miss the net last night as I was on my way home
from Lew's. It was about a 2 and one half hour drive. My Babe in a
Box (GPS) took my right to his door and right back to the campground.
