Howdy! In all truth, this first couple of shots don't really have anything to do with the Findlay Hamfest! A few days before the hamfest, Tom, W3TOM showed up at the Farley Flophouse for an overnight visit. He was on his way to Indiana and then Wisconsin for a couple of rallies and he had hopes of making the hamfest, but things just didn't work out that way.
So, below left you see Tom with Flat KBob. Below right you see Zed W. Jay taking Flat KBob to be packed for the hamfest.
Below right you see Dottie, KD8BXK doing her "Groucho" imitation! Ha cha cha! Middle left below you see Randy, AB8CO and Marilyn (no call). Middle right you see Ted, KD8BXJ and Dottie, KD8BXK. Bottom left you see Marian, WD8CJD and Keith, WA8ZWJ. Bottom right you see Marian, the birthday girl, visiting with some of the wildlife at Steve's Dakota Grill in Findlay Saturday evening prior to the hamfest.
Prior to the hamfest, Zed W. Jay had planned to set up outside to sell. However, after listening to the weather forecast, he decided to purchase a couple of table inside. Since it rained all night and then into the morning of the hamfest, all IOOK participants thought he chose wisely!

As you can see, we didn't let the rain of the day dampen our spirits! A good time was had by all! The big purchase of the day was by Ted, who picked up an MFJ Antenna Analyzer!
The group finished our delightful weekend with a visit to Wendy's for a late lunch!
