The Cadillac Swap (Hamfest) is organized by the Wexaukee
Amateur Radio Club. Wexaukee is a combination of Wexford County and
Missaukee County. Cadillac is located in Wexford County.
A number of the local BARF guys headed out early and met some folks early in Cadillac for breakfast.
Dave - W8TVC and Keith - WA8ZWJ headed towards Cadillac a little before 8 this morning.
The first person we saw that we knew was Mike -
KG8CW. He had just won an hourly door prize! Congratulations Mike!
Then we ran into Rob - W8REJ!

It was kind of cool this morning when the guys headed out for the hamfest but the sun soon warmed things up and we got into the low 70's! Delightful!
After the hamfest Big Al - KB8FJB, Dave - W8TVC and Keith -
WA8ZWJ went to the After 26 Depot Cafe in Cadillac for a great lunch and
wonderful visit!
The hamfest was well attended! It is a quick hamfest that starts at 8AM and runs until noon.
We had a fun time!
We deeply appreciate the warm HOSSpitality that the local hams offer!
