Keith's IOOK Photo Page

A year ago at HamVention Charlie, WB8NSL was questioned by a guy in one of the booths

about how ham radio had made an impact on his life.  Charlie's response was something to the

effect that ham radio was so important to him that he had his callsign embroidered on his shorts.

The past May, Charlie was awarded a pair of underwear with his callsign and an IOOK logo on the

back.  However, since Charlie was not present, they were presented to him during our West Virginia

Field Day outing.  Prior to my June visit to the cottage in Michigan, John, KF8KK, and his dad, Ed, N8NCO

paid a visit to the cottage just to check up on things and Ed commented about the underwear on the

line.  Actually it was a series of plastic bags on a rope to prevent unaware motorists from accidentally

parking on the new septic tank.  Most recently, a friend from down the lake, (Sir Charles Retallick -

of fame from the tail light incident with the tree at the cottage) decided to air his innermost at the end

of his dock.  As you can see, who knows what will be next!
