Experimental 902.10 (+31.2 MHz) Repeater Project
The experimental 902.10 repeater was installed at the 45,000 ft. level on the Nextel Central US walkie talkie tower. Initial tests were inconclusive as the internal solar powered batteries had not yet charged and we have yet to find any IOOK'ers with the proper equipment to work that frequency pair. In the next few months we hope to receive permission to move the test site to near the top of the tower. This move should greatly improve the coverage! Most likely, this approval will not occur until after NASA resumes their Shuttle Flight Schedule.
