Now Keith - WA8ZWJ is tapping his first beer.

About 1PM the gang meets at Fast Eddie's to load the floors
for the flea market!

area.

Then it was time to go to the flea market and set up our
sales area.
We had some difficulty figuring out which piece of flooring went where.
John - N5AAA called Lou - N8KXM who originally set the floors up and he managed to straighten us out.
Lou was not able to come to HamVention because there was a
great grandchild being born into his family.
The floors are now all in place. The catch is when we started setting up the canopy we discovered some pipes were missing.
The missing pipes were found when we packed things up on
Sunday. They were inside one of the floors.
While John and Keith took the rented pickup truck to get
replacement pipes the guys worked on trying to put the canopy together.
The new pipes are being cut to length.
We are getting ready to move the canopy into place!
Then the canopy was secured to the floors so it would not
blow away.
Adding the tables for the sales area.
Here is our set up crew!

I believe our flea market sales were better than I can ever remember. When I counted the money in the envelopes we had sold over $2,800 worth!
=====
On Saturday, May 28, 2022 Jim - W5JCS sent me this info which I forwarded to the IOOK!
The attendance at Dayton HamVention 2022 is reported as 31,367. I got this from Michael Kalter, the Treasure of DARA who I have become acquainted with over the past few years.
The Dayton Amateur Radio Association is pleased with this attendance. Michael told me the attendance far exceeded what they expected. Tim Duff, K3LR, who organizes Contest University the day prior to the opening of the HamVention, was hoping for 200 to attend the program this year. It was a sell out with 300 people registering.

I would like to thank everyone who helped with so many of the activities to make this HamVention a success!
I certainly hope we can figure out another way to transport the floors so we don't have to rent a pickup truck next year!
I also appreciate all the donations even though I never really talked about estimated expenditures!
