As you can see. a fun time was had by all!

Saturday morning found the Early Birds back at the California Garden.

Of course, as soon as the doors opened some of the guys had to go inside. Yes, we have more shots of the robots!

Here's some more shots of the Flea Market. Since Luis showed up on Friday, Sancho decided to visit us on Saturday!

"Persimmons are being served on the veranda! Persimmons are being served on the veranda!"

Now, they say that timing is everything. KBob called Charlie, NN3V when he was away from the booth and whoever was at the keyboard in KUB's space (he had a lot of visitors spend time playing) did not know anything about the IOOK - so, we missed KBob's call and his attempt to chat with us in the Flea Market via the streaming video.

The flow chart on the T shirt below helps put computer terminology into perspective!

The IOOK welcomes a newcomer to the Vice Presidential ranks of the IOOK - Richard, VK5UK from down under. See a post HamVention California mini-Gathering where Richard receives his T shirt by going to the IOOK's Photo Page.
After the Flea Market closed Saturday evening the gang went to Rob's Restaurant in Brookville.

Yep! There were nine of us in the Tan Van when we headed back to the Farley Flophouse after Rob's Saturday night!
Sunday morning the cook at the California Garden overslept, so, we were a bit later than expected getting into the restaurant.

It like the theme song, "by Sunday it's spent!" Har! Below you see shots from the arena during the prize drawings for unclaimed hourly prizes. Sadly, no IOOK won any of the unclaimed prizes....this year.

Ah, yes! Charlie receives IOOK Support calls on a regular basis. Click here to listen in.

Lou has the tear down procedure down to a science. It took a very short period of time to convert from Flea Market to nearly empty parking lot.

Many thanks to K8BTE, KG7SB, N0BIX, N5AAA, NN3V, W6OWH, W8ED and WA8ZWJ for submitting their photo's for this web page. In total 644 pictures were submitted. I apologize for it taking so long to get things organized, but, it took some time to get everyone's photos. Then it took time to sort through them and organize them into a logical chronological order and sort out the duplicates and so on and so on and so on.
Also, thank you to Charlie, NN3V and Dave, W8TVC for making our flea market lunches.
Also, thank you to all who brought food to the Gathering. It was great!
Thanks to Fast Eddie, W8ED for providing the beer for the Gathering and other related suds drinking at the Farley Flophouse.
Thanks to all who contributed to the Flower Fund. We are once again solvent. As Hoss said, "Wouldn't it be great if next year we could say that we did not need to collect for the Flower Fund because there have been no serious illnesses or deaths among the IOOK."
Thanks to all who contributed to the Flea Market fund! We broke even! Yee haw!
Thank you to Mike, N7LMJ for providing the IOOK the web space that makes this possible.
Thanks to Marian, WD8CJD for all she does!
Finally, a very special thank you to Lou, N8KXM for all his efforts to make our Flea Market space all that it is and organizing the storage of all the stuff the remainder of the year! We do appreciate all your efforts!
I have received a lot of thank you wishes upon behalf of my efforts to organize things for HamVention. Thank you for your kind comments. However, without the team effort put forth by the above folks as well as many other folks who contribute their efforts in the background, our annual HamVention event would not be possible!
Best 73, Respectfully submitted, Keith Farley, WA8ZWJ
