Here are some shots from the all-you-can-eat buffet Saturday night at Rob's Restaurant in Brookville.

Yes, the IOOK is "yet again" traveling on it's stomach!

Sunday started off with breakfast at the California Garden Restaurant!
Sunday morning in the flea market started off cold, rainy, windy, cold, windy and rainy. Notice, we erected tarps to block the wind and rain once KUB's gang had torn down their stuff.

Lunch time is once again here, so the announcement goes out indicating that "Persimmons are being served on the veranda!"

In the afternoon, the rains stops and things warm up some when the sun comes out. As we begin to think about tear down we once again review the I.O.O.K. Warranty as prepared by our Technology Department.

Tear down begins once the tickets have been drawn. Sadly, no IOOK'ers were prize winners this year. So, no new surprise toys at the end of HamVention 2006!

Stan, N5JFQ catches a great shot of the IOOK Flag on our Flea Market Antenna!

After the tables and left over stuff is loaded into the van, it is time to take down the tarp and support.

It is obvious that we had a trash can in the space this year when the floors are put onto the truck and there is no mess underneath!

As we prepare to leave the arena site, we reflect upon a very important aspect of our ham radio hobby and that is....

After returning to ZWJ's QTH and unloading the vans, a "Soaking Up The Suds Session" ensued! Of course, upon our arrival, we were all surprised by the new lawn ornament in the front yard.

After the suds session, we headed to the local Marion's Piazza for pizza dinner! Mmm Mmm! Hoss received his annual neck rub from daughter Tina.

After dinner, Charlie, NN3V, Chief Guru of the IOOK Technology Department modified the drive for the laptop he had purchased. Even though the drive fit inside fine, the door would not close properly without a slight modification.

HamVention has come and gone. As always, the best part about the hamfest was the fun time spent with the I.O.O.K. gang! If you didn't make HamVention this year, start making plans now for next year's hamfest. You will not regret it!
I apologize for it taking so long to compile the photos for this web page. However, it turned out to be quite a task sorting through the 530 pictures from four sources. Yes, I have noticed a couple of minor mistakes, but, nothing big enough to encourage me to redo. :-)
Thanks to KBob, W8JUK, President of the I.O.O.K. for referring Paul to us. Paul donated a bunch of ham radio gear which was sold in the IOOK flea market space and contributed to the donations envelope! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Thanks to Lou, N8KXM who places forth a lot of effort in caring for and storing the banner, flag, antenna, tarp, floors and so on! His behind the scenes efforts makes our flea market space a lot more endurable for the long weekend!
Many thanks to KC4US, N5AAA, N5JFQ, NN3V, W6OWH, WA8ZWJ and WB8NSL for their snap shots that contributed to this page!
A special "Hat's Off" to Mike, N7LMJ who sponsors the I.O.O.K. web page!
Many thanks to all who contributed to make HamVention 2006 and the 25th Anniversary of the I.O.O.K. a successful venture!
Sincerely, Keith, WA8ZWJ - Vice President of the International Order Of Krazies
