Dayton IOOK Repeater Information

This note is to bring you up to speed on the local 442.850 (+offset 118.8hz PL tone) repeater and surrounding area machines of interest. This machine has EchoLink node #269089 however, it may be shut down during HamVention. Also note: Outgoing EchoLink connections are restricted. See WA8ZWJ for more information.

As a back up for reliable communications we would like to suggest the use of Glenn, W8AK’s repeater system if you are unable to access 442.850 in a satisfactory manner. This is a wide coverage system linking 3 repeater systems together 24/7. You will want to program in the following frequencies and PL tones:

442.925 + (PL 123.0) – located in Huber Heights
444.725 + (PL 123.0) – located in Piqua
444.000 + (PL 107.2) – located in Celina *** Reported offline***

This system has coverage from just north of Cincinnati to just south of Paulding and from the state line to the west to east of Springfield. If you look at your map of Ohio, you will see that this covers most of western Ohio. Also, this system has IRLP access.
