Back in June we posted a photo series of Richard's assimilation into the IOOK. (see http://iook.org/photos/vk5ukassimilated.htm)
We recently received the following note from Richard regarding his upcoming trip:
"We have been working hard since I returned to Australia, and my wife Jo-Anne and I are about to embark on a 12 month caravan tour of Australia, I have set up my website to reflect this trip, and will be updating and adding to it as we progress.
There is an email link on the front page that will add anyone that uses it to mailing list, and I will endeavor to notify the list of updates and send the odd E-postcard or 2.
I thought this might be of interest to some of the VP's so maybe could
get a link on the IOOK site.

Hi guys, Can you imagine my surprise when I spotted this guy fishing on the main wharf at Darwin? Had to lend him my hat, the sun's harsh in the tropics. You wouldn't read about it, he's traveling the same route as me for a while, so will be bumping into him occasionally.

Hi everyone! The website has been updated. We moved after 3 weeks in Darwin through Kakadu national park, which was an amazing
experience. Choosing just a few pictures for the website from the hundreds taken was not an easy task, I purchased a new camera in Darwin, which should improve the quality of the pictures, especially the wildlife shots.
We are currently in Katherine where we will be for a few days before we head west, Jo-Anne and I are having a great time, everything is going well and we are
realizing just what an amazing country this is. Bye for now! Richard and Jo-Anne..

Hi IOOK! It's been a while, as you have seen in the update we are now back in the tropics, where it's warm. Seems we are not the only heat seekers out there.

Hi Guys, yesterday we visited another Australian icon. the Ettamogah Pub, built as a replica from a comic strip that appeared for many years in Aussie newspapers. Who should we find lurking around the corner?
