During an I.O.O.K. Mini-Gathering on February 22, 2009 that Charlie, NN3V, hosted, Charlie made a special presentation to the I.O.O.K.
This Mini-Gathering was attended by NN3V, his XYL, Eli, Menchie, KG6WNV, Ted, KF6BFI, Hoss, WA5ZAI, Keith, WA8ZWJ, Ron, W6KJ, Bill, KA8ZBW and Tom, W3TOM.
Charlie started the presentation by telling a bit about the ARRL's Diamond Terrace and Diamond Club.
In addition to preserving his own call sign on the Terrace, Charlie has also commemorated the IOOK with a brick on the Terrace.
The Marker for the ARRL Diamond Terrace says "In Honor Of The I.O.O.K. A Way Of Life"
