K4KEW & The USS Farragut

posted 9/8/09

In August of 2009 Marv, K4KEW spent 24 hours on the USS Farragut.  His story unfolds below:

I am retired from the US Air Force and part of my career was serving in the Pentagon with fellow IOOK Hoss Karmi !!

Retired to Jacksonville, Florida which is a Navy town.  I figured "if you can not beat 'em, join "em."  so, I joined the Navy League which supports the Navy.

Last week the Navy invited a bunch of us Navy Leaguers  to go out to sea on one of its newest Aegis Class ships, the USS Farrragut http://www.farragut.navy.mil/ default.aspx

As you can see by the photos below, a great time was had by all!
