ARRL President Kay Craigie speaks to forum...
Kay Craigie the President of the ARRL attended Ham Holiday in Oklahoma City this year along with our West Gulf Division Director Dr David Woolweaver, K5RAV, and Vice Director John Robert Stratton N5AUS. David came from Harlingen Texas, 714 miles for Okla. City and John drove 400 miles after work on Friday to attend Ham Holiday. Of course Kay flew in from West Virginia. It is gratifying the support our elected League Officials give us in the far north part of the Division. Ham Holiday has greatly decreased in size from several thousand attending in the seventies, eighties and starting a decline in the late nineties to the present few hundred in attendance.
